Having recently moved to the area, I’ve been on the lookout for the best fish and chips, and I’ve found it! I decided to try this takeaway after hearing good things from neighbours and wow, it did not disappoint. The first thing that struck me was how fresh everything tasted. The haddock was flaky, and the chips were golden and fluffy. I also loved the fact that they offer a variety of options, including different types of fish and even some vegetarian choices! It’s a great touch for those who may not be keen on seafood. One thing I would suggest though is having more dipping sauces available; I’m a huge fan of curry sauce with my chips, and it would have been nice to see it on the menu. Nonetheless, I’m really impressed and will definitely be making this my go-to spot for a comforting meal. The atmosphere is friendly, and I left feeling satisfied and happy. Can’t recommend enough!

I can’t express how much I love this place! The fish and chips are absolutely amazing. I ordered the battered cod with a side of mushy peas and it was simply perfect. The batter was crispy yet light, allowing the freshness of the fish to shine through. I also appreciated the generous portion sizes; I had enough to share, but honestly, I didn’t want to! The staff were friendly and welcoming, which just added to the experience. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. One tiny downside was that the wait for my order was a bit longer than expected, but it was so worth it. I could see they were busy, and it’s nice to know they’re popular for a reason! Overall, I would highly recommend this spot to anyone craving authentic fish and chips. I’m already planning my next visit, and I can’t wait to try their homemade tartar sauce next time. I’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints! The quality of the fish is consistently top-notch; it’s always fresh, and the batter is light and crispy. I especially love their chips—fluffy and seasoned just right! My family and I usually order a mixed platter, and every time, it’s a feast of flavours. The only suggestion I have is to perhaps introduce some specials or seasonal items to keep the menu exciting. The staff are always friendly and willing to chat, which makes each visit feel welcoming. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who loves a hearty meal!

I stopped by this takeaway for a quick dinner after hearing wonderful things, and it surely lived up to the hype! The fish was perfectly cooked with a crispy batter that I couldn’t get enough of. The chips were equally delightful—soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. And let’s not forget the homemade tartar sauce, which added a lovely touch! I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have any seating available, though, as I would have loved to enjoy it right there. But as a takeaway, it does its job well. I’ll certainly be back for my next fish and chips fix!

I had the best fish and chips here recently! The fish was cooked beautifully, and the chips were perfect. I highly recommend trying the curry sauce – it really adds something special! My only minor gripe is that there was a bit of a wait, but I suppose that’s a good sign of quality. Overall, I was very pleased and would definitely return. Highly recommended!
